The only exciting aspect of his life is the fact that he is a secret writer of spicy stories, through which he lives out his fantasies.

Interestingly, Mickey loves to write these stories in public - specifically, at a coffeehouse owned by his crush, Ronan Winters. One day, when Mickey comes across the prompt "Never Have I Ever" on a message board, he knows exactly how he wants to complete that sentence: "Never Have I Ever Gone Skinny-Dipping."
